Background
Founded in 1949 by A.D. Lindsay, former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Oxford, Keele has always been different from other universities – and, seventy years later, we still are.
Our university has a central campus that has all the services you need: a library, places to eat/drink, a gym, Student Services Centre, Students Union, Chapel, Islamic Centre….
Keele occupies a 625-acre rural campus close to the village of Keele and consists of extensive woods, lakes and Keele Hall set in the Staffordshire Potteries. It has a science park and a conference centre, making it the largest campus university in the UK

How could this affect me?
The campus is bigger than you might be used to at School or College and getting lost is common for new students and when timetables change. Becoming familiar with key buildings and locations may help you to prepare.
Accessable Keele University has lots of inages of buildings to help you familiarise yourself with the campus. You can also find virtual tours on the Keele Virtual Tour website.
